    SAMPLE TRIP

Depart directly from your villa (if on Pond Bay), the National Park Dock (St. John) or Saint Thomas American Yacht Harbor (St. Thomas) and leave for Virgin Gorda in the morning. Once thru immigration there, we can head out to visit the the Baths.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    • WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?

Depending on where your group is located, we can meet at your villa in Chocolate Hole/Pond Bay, at the National Park Dock in St. John or at Chocolate Hole within Pond Bay. For those in St. Thomas, we will meet you at the American Yacht Harbor. Captain Will will be sure to set these arrangements beforehand.

Charter times vary and are listed on our individual Charter pages and on the Book Charter detail.

    • CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINKS?

Yes you may. Although we provide snacks, water, beer, rum and other beverages, you may want to bring something aboard that suits your taste. We have extra room in our coolers with ice to accomodate. For beverages, we suggest avoiding glass container and bottles and staining liquids (like red wine, cranberry juice, etc) as they can damage the upholstery and boat interior.

    • HOW CAN I BOOK A CHARTER?

Booking your charter is easy. Simply click anywhere you see "Book Now!" on our website and you can securely make payment via credit card to reserve your next charter in paradise.

    • WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Cancellations made outside of 7 days will receive a full refund. Cancellations made inside 7 days of the scheduled charter will be liable for the full cost of the trip. Any no shows the day of the charter will be liable for the full cost of the trip.

Weather cancellations will be made by the captain on the day of the trip and not before, any cancellations due to weather made by St. John Resort Charters will not be held to the cancellation policy.

    • HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED?

The most passengers the boat is allowed to hold is 12.
    • WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS OR IT'S WINDY?

Occasional showers do occur occasionally in the Virgin Islands, however this "liquid sunshine" will not prevent you from having a great time on the boat. If the weather should be windy, depending on the forecast and direction of the wind, the cruise may be adjusted to the captain's discretion. We take care in keeping our guests in the Lee, or away from the wind. Such that, even if it is a very windy day, we will bring you to calm spots.

    • CAN WE PLAY OUR OWN MUSIC?

Yes, our 36' Aquila Catamaran is equipped with a FUSION multi-zone audio system with 6 x Fusion speakers and features bluetooth connectivity.

    • DO I NEED A PASSPORT?

Yes. If you are visiting any of the British Virgin Islands, you will need to present your passport to customs.
    • DO YOU OFFER BABY-SITTING SERVICES?

Yes, we can recommend someone to watch your children if you like. Please contact us to make that arrangement prior to your charter.

    • ARE PETS ALLOWED?

Although we love pets, they are not permitted on our charters.

    • WHAT IS THE CUSTOMARY TIP FOR THE CAPTAIN & FIRST MATE?

While it is at your discretion, it is customary to tip the Captain and crew at the conclusion of a charter for excellent care and service. As a guide, a gratuity of 20% of the base charter fee is considered normal for exceptional service and attention to detail, but this rate is always at your discretion.
    • CAN WE GO SNORKELING OR SWIMMING ON THE SUNSET CRUISE?

Yes, you can do what you like - go snorkeling, visit a local beach, or just stay aboard enjoying the sunset, our many libations and light hors d'oeuvres.
